Adaptation
Time for example number 2! This time around, I will be talking about the Majestic Polar Bear. These great bears live in the  Arctic Circle and the surrounding areas. It is the largest bear in the Ursidae family, but the Kodiak Bear is about the same size. They are closely related to the Brown Bear, but has adapted to the cold, moving across snow, ice and through water, and for hunting Seals. On the conservation list, it is considered vulnerable because of global warming and pollution of it's natural habitat. Global warming is causing the ice to melt, therefore the Polar Bears cannot find or get on land. Many of them drown because of this. If this continues, they may have to adapt to a new habitat altogether. This bear plays a huge role in the lives of the Arctic Indigenous people's lives. They provide food, their pelts, and lots of stuff they need to survive the cold Winters. Remember what I said earlier about the Brown Bears and Polar Bears being closely related? Well, neither one can survive long in eachother's habitat!
